Rudraksha Tibetan Om Cedarwood Mala

46

The beads of this mala are Cedarwood, one of the most ancient trees. It is known for its lightness, grain and sweet earthy fragrance. These Cedarwood beads are from Konya, Turkey, the home of the great sage and poet, Rumi.

A striking yet delicate mala with the bronze pendant of Om, a symbol which represents the primordial sound, the essence of the entire universe, the Ultimate Reality. It is adorned by a large rudraksha bead and four lava stone beads. Rudraksha is a holy seed which Hindus regard as the tears of Lord Shiva. They carry great significance to many, including Buddhists, Jains and Hindus, and are seen as a support in facing the hurdles of the spiritual journey.

Mala Blessing by Sri Mooji

Bless these malas that they may carry the perfume of the divine Presence;
that they may instil in the minds and hearts of those who wear them
the fragrance and the remembrance of the Supreme;
that they may grow and be fruitful in their inquiry
—the direct path to the realisation of the Supreme Self.

Om Namah Shivaya. Om Namah Shivaya. Om Namah Shivaya

May all who serve and attend satsang, whether physically or in spirit,
be as one family of Truth and draw complete nourishment to their inmost being
that they will absorb these pointers directly into their heart,
into the inner streams of the consciousness and so find healing for their souls,
wisdom for their minds and unity with the Supreme Being
—thus awakening from the sleep of ignorance into the blessedness
of Self-realisation and true Liberation.

Om Namah Shivaya. Om Namah Shivaya. Om Namah Shivaya

Let this life be the evidence of Truth, the evidence of Spirit.
May what our mouths speak, what our minds conceive, what our hearts experience be dedicated and lived out as Truth only.
May the contemplation of our heart and the meditation of our mind
be ever-pleasing to the supreme harmony of this universe.

Boundless peace, grace, wisdom, love, light and blessed anointing
to all whose mind and face turns to you, O Supreme Harmony.
May we offer up our selves to be absorbed in You, for now and all time.

Let it be so. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti Om

May Grace release its power within our hearts so that we are saved from delusion
and thus brought back into harmony with the Supreme Lord of the universe.
May our minds and hearts be clear and free from every impression
that seemingly binds us to the phenomenal realm.
Let us remain clean, pure and free from the seeds of delusion.

Let it be so now and forever. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti Om

Let us be totally receptive, and beyond the sense of duality be totally One.
Let us open our hearts again to admit our unity with the one Self.
Absorb this sense of separateness, of I-ness into Thee only.

Let it be so now, for all time and beyond time.

Om Shanti Shanti Shanti Om

Amen.

Divya is a talented craftswoman who works with great patience, sensitivity and attention, all exquisitely reflected in her jewellery. Her works are called creAleph as they are inspired from the geometry of God’s creation, and they incorporate many symbols and themes of ancient traditions. Divya handmakes the bronze pendants in her malas and uses rosewood beads from the city of Prophet Abraham as well as stunning pieces of gemstone.

Bronze is a metal which can change colour such as become slightly darker or more shiny depending on the environment and wear. To enhance shine, the bronze can be rubbed with sodium bicarbonate and lemon. Note that exposure to salt water can cause the bronze to rust.
